Privacy policy of the Basely for Facebook extension

This policy covers the Chrome extension "Basely for Facebook". It states plainly what the extension reads, what it sends to Basely, what it never touches, when it acts, what it stores and for how long, who we share it with (nobody) and how to delete everything.
The permissions it asks for, and why
"storage": keep only your account's pairing code in the browser. "scripting": enter the Facebook page when you click, to read your groups or fill in the composer. "tabs": open the tab of the group you asked to post in and recognize which tab is Facebook. "clipboardWrite": copy the post text to the clipboard when automatic filling does not work. Access to two domains only: facebook.com (where it acts) and app.baselyapp.com (where it sends the outcome). No other site.
What it reads
When you click Import my groups, it reads the addresses and names of the Facebook groups you belong to, in the tab you opened. When you click Publish to the next group, it opens the group and fills the composer with the text and images you prepared in Basely yourself. The only identity value it reads is your public Facebook user number, to notice that you signed in with another account and stop the queue before it posts in the wrong place.
What it sends to Basely
The list of groups (name, address, member count), the outcome of each post (the state and the post link), the extension version and your computer's time zone. No identifier of your Facebook account is sent. All over HTTPS, authenticated by your account's pairing code.
What it never touches
Your Facebook password, the Facebook session cookie, private messages, your browsing history, content from other sites and any tab other than the Facebook one you asked it to open. It has no script running in the background inside Facebook.
When it acts
Never on its own. It enters the page when you press a button, does what was asked and leaves. If you turn on automatic mode for a group, it starts clicking Publish in that group with content a person approved in Basely; that switch lives in your Basely account, not in the extension, and turning it off there stops it right away.
What it stores in the browser
Your account's pairing code and a fingerprint of the Facebook account you used when importing the groups, so the extension can warn you if you sign in with another one. Both stay in the extension's local storage and never leave your browser. No group, post or person data is kept here.
How long Basely keeps it
Registered groups and the posting history stay in your account for as long as it exists or until you remove them. When you revoke the pairing, the extension stops right away and nothing new is sent. When you delete the account, all of it is deleted with it.
Who we share it with
Nobody. The data the extension sends exists only to show you, in Basely, what was posted and where. We do not sell, rent or hand it to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising. The extension sends no data to any service outside Basely.
Security
Communication with Basely is encrypted (HTTPS). The extension carries no Basely credential: the pairing code only identifies your account, and you can revoke it at any time in the Hub, under Social, Groups.
Your rights
You can view, correct, export and delete your account data in Basely at any time from the panel, and you can also request it by e-mail. We honor requests under the LGPD, the GDPR and the CCPA.
Changes to this policy
When the extension asks for a new permission or starts reading or sending something different, this page changes before the new version reaches the store, with the date at the top updated.
Deleting your data
Uninstall the extension and revoke the pairing in the Hub. To delete the groups you registered, use the remove button on each one, or write to privacy@baselyapp.com.
