Basely Affiliate Program Terms
Version 2026-10-14.2
1. The program
1.1. The Basely Affiliate Program pays a commission to people who refer new customers to Basely through an affiliate link.
1.2. To take part, a person activates the affiliate area in their Basely account and accepts these terms. Anyone who is 18 or older (or of legal age in their country), has a valid Basely account and can receive payouts through Stripe Connect (dollars) or Pix (reais) may be an affiliate. Basely may refuse or end a participation that breaches these terms.
1.3. Being an affiliate does not create an employment, partnership, sales representation or agency relationship between the affiliate and Basely. The affiliate does not speak on behalf of Basely.
2. What the commission is based on
2.1. The commission is based on the subscription the referred customer pays to Basely in their own account: the plan and the fixed price add-ons from the catalog.
2.2. The base is the amount actually paid for those items, after taxes and the payment processor fee. When a payment includes items outside the base, the deduction is proportional to the part that counts.
2.3. The base does not include metered usage, one-off credits, domains, servers (VPS), Storage, or any service or contract a seller charges their own customer through Basely (proposals, management, orders and services).
3. How much the affiliate earns
3.1. From the 1st to the 12th month paid by the referred customer, the commission is 30% of the base. If the affiliate's account has an agreed rate higher than 30%, that rate applies from the 1st to the 12th paid month.
3.2. From the 13th paid month on, the commission is 15% of the base for all affiliates, with no end date, for as long as the referred customer keeps paying.
3.3. Months are counted by confirmed plan payments, not by the calendar. An add-on charged on its own in the middle of a cycle earns commission at the current month's rate without counting as a new month.
3.4. In addition to the commission, the affiliate receives 500 AI credits once per referred customer, when that customer's first paid month is released (section 4). The credits are not granted if the affiliate is blocked on the release date.
3.5. The commission is paid in the currency the referred customer paid in: US dollars or Brazilian reais. Amounts shown in another currency in the affiliate area are for reference only.
4. 30 day holding period
4.1. Each commission waits 30 days from the confirmed payment. After that, it is released and counts toward the next payout to the affiliate.
4.2. If the referred customer's payment is refunded, in full or in part, or disputed (chargeback) during the holding period, the commission for that month is canceled in full and the month does not count as a paid month.
4.3. A dispute closed in Basely's favor does not reopen a canceled commission.
5. Refunds after payout and debit
5.1. If the referred customer's payment is refunded or disputed after the commission for that month has already been paid to the affiliate, the amount of that commission becomes a debit of the affiliate, in the same currency.
5.2. The debit is deducted from the next commissions payable in the same currency, oldest first. A payout never goes below zero: whatever does not fit in one month carries over to the next.
5.3. Basely does not collect the debit in any other way. If the affiliate has no new commissions, the debit stays open and is deducted if new commissions come in.
5.4. If a commission that was used to reduce a debit is canceled before it is paid, the deducted amount returns to the debit.
6. Self referral
6.1. The affiliate does not earn commission for referring themselves.
6.2. Basely declines the commission when the referred account and the affiliate's account belong to the same person, which includes, among other signals, the same account, email, phone number, address, sign up IP address or card. A declined commission is recorded with the reason.
7. Link, last click and 30 day cookie
7.1. A referral is recorded when the person arrives at Basely through the affiliate's link and creates an account.
7.2. The link stores a cookie in the person's browser that lasts 30 days. If they create an account within that period, the referral belongs to the affiliate of that link.
7.3. The last click wins: if the person clicks links from different affiliates, the referral goes to the owner of the last link clicked before sign up.
7.4. Without a valid cookie at sign up (for example, if the person blocked cookies, cleared the browser or more than 30 days have passed), the referral is not recorded and cannot be assigned later.
8. Payouts
8.1. Basely pays affiliates starting on the first Wednesday of each month, within 7 days, adding up the commissions released by that date.
8.2. A payout is only made from US$ 25 (dollar commissions) or R$ 100 (real commissions). Below that, the amount carries over to the next month.
8.3. Dollar commissions are paid through Stripe Connect, to the account the affiliate connects in the affiliate area. Without a connected account, Basely records the amount due and pays it manually.
8.4. Real commissions are paid by Pix, manually, to the Pix key that is the CPF or CNPJ the affiliate provides in the affiliate area. Payment is made to the holder of that document.
8.5. The affiliate is responsible for keeping their payout details correct. The affiliate is solely responsible for the taxes on what they receive and for reporting them in their country. Basely may request the tax forms required by the payment method (such as W-9 or W-8BEN through Stripe) and issue the reports the law requires. Basely does not withhold taxes, except when the law requires it.
9. Affiliate link disclosure
9.1. Wherever the link is shared, the affiliate must state clearly and visibly that it is an affiliate link and that they may earn a commission, close to the link and before the person clicks. Examples: "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission if you subscribe through this link".
9.2. This applies to posts, videos, stories, emails, websites and messages. The disclosure cannot be hidden in a profile, footer, unclear hashtag or separate link.
9.3. The ready made texts in the affiliate area already include this disclosure and must not be published without it.
9.4. The disclosure follows the FTC guidance in the United States (Endorsement Guides) and the Brazilian Code of Advertising Self-Regulation of CONAR in Brazil.
10. No earnings promises
10.1. The affiliate may not promise, guarantee or suggest income, profit, savings or any financial result to anyone who subscribes to Basely or becomes an affiliate.
10.2. The affiliate may not say anything false or misleading about Basely, its prices, features or conditions, nor present themselves as an employee or representative of Basely.
10.3. The affiliate may only describe the plans with the prices and conditions published by Basely on the date of the promotion.
11. Blocking and review
11.1. Basely may block an affiliate when there are signs of a breach of these terms, fraud, self referral or misleading promotion. Every block is made with a recorded reason.
11.2. While the affiliate is blocked, the link stops generating new referrals. Commissions from existing referred customers keep being recorded, and all commissions not yet paid are held, not canceled.
11.3. The affiliate may ask for a review of the block through Basely support. If the block is lifted, the held commissions return to the normal payout schedule. Basely answers the request within 15 business days. If the block is upheld for fraud, self referral or misleading promotion, the commissions tied to the violation are canceled; the other legitimate commissions are paid on the normal schedule.
12. Changes to these terms
12.1. Basely may change these terms. Each version has a number and a date, published on this page.
12.2. When the version changes, the affiliate must accept the new version in the affiliate area. Until they accept, the link keeps working and referrals keep being recorded, but commissions are held.
12.3. Once the new version is accepted, the held commissions return to the normal payout schedule.
12.4. Basely notifies the affiliate by email when there is a new version to accept.
13. Leaving the program
13.1. The affiliate may leave the program at any time through Basely support. On leaving, the commissions already released are paid in the next cycle, even below the minimum amount, and those still in the holding period follow these terms and are paid when released. No new commission is generated after leaving. If Basely ends the program, it gives 30 days' notice, and the same rules apply.
14. Governing law and venue
14.1. These terms are a contract between the affiliate and FastDrop Solutions Corporation, a Massachusetts company in the United States that operates the Basely brand. The laws of the State of Massachusetts apply, and the venue is the State of Massachusetts, except where the law of the affiliate's country guarantees another venue that cannot be waived.
